We are partnering with a leading, global manufacturer within Generics with the hiring of an experienced Key Account Manager within their Export department.

This role will take responsibility for the EMEA region. Regional responsibility for sales , marketing contribution, regional sales and marketing management to ensure agreed targets are met. Development and implementation of leveraging, new product and regulatory strategies for the region.

  • In the territory, will be responsible for achieving agreed budgeted sales and marketing contribution , growth & profitability of business.
  • Acts as liaison between the commercial division and other country sales & operations (marketing, new product launches, regulatory, trade, public relations, commercial analysis)
    Identifies and validates market opportunities and business needs , leveraging opportunities.
  • Develops and self maintains/get involved in customer relationships with key accounts, opinion leaders & key decision makers in
  • Actively participates, mentors & guides in all commercial (including pricing), tactical, strategic & channel marketing meetings.
  • Develop vision & strategy for the business in territory, starting from identification of products, capability building & business building and expansion plans
  • Develop long term & medium term strategies for various product categories with special focus on deeper participation across the value chain

You must have experience working within Export and Business Development on a European level. Ideally you would have had dealings with customers in Africa but this is not essential.
